Alcohol testing via blood for legal DWI cases, breath tests for DOT or rehabilitation monitoring, for the newest technology testing for ETG (ethyl glucuronide) that detects the consumption of alcohol for up to 5 days. This technology is extremely useful in rehabilitation setting, correctional programs, and private issue dealing with family. Independent Drug Testing and Forensic Services (IDTAFS) can analyze saliva using a patented technology that only IDTAFS can provide. IDTAFS has been given permission to use this technology and is the only lab qualified to use this analysis. Confirmatory analysis by GC/MS (gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer) can specifically determine the drug in the biological media whether it be urine, blood, saliva, or hair.
Special services are available such as inhalant analysis, anabolic steroid analysis, date rape analysis (ketamine, rohypnol, GHB). With the exception of anabolic steroids, detection time is quite limited and may not be seen beyond 12-24 hours.
